This magazine will only fit single-stack, 1911-style pistols with short or "compact" frames. Colt brand pistols with short frames are often called: Officer's Model, Compact, or Commander.

For pistols with 3" barrels (measurement includes the chamber): This mag will seat and function properly, but it will stick out of the bottom of the frame approximately 1/2".

Brands of single-stack pistols with short frames this mag will fit:
  • Wilson Combat
  • Springfield Armory
  • Colt
  • Kimber (will NOT FIT Pro Carry II or Tactical Pro II)
  • Smith & Wesson
  • U.S. Military
  • Caspian
  • Rock Island Armory

This magazine will NOT fit:

  • Kimber Pro Carry II or Tactical Pro II
  • Any single-stack pistol with a 5" barrel or a full-size frame.
  • Any pistol with a "double-stack" magazine, such as a Glock, Sig, or Beretta
