- Upper right corner of mag body has an indent that allows the mag to seat easier.

For Pistols with Mag Wells:
- The 500's flared basepad will fit/seat in pistols with mag wells.
- The overall length of the mag is exactly the same as the 47D.
- If you have a mag well on your competition 1911, I recommend the 47DE mag, due to it's taller basepad.

428 Replacement Blades
Using only a screwdriver, you can change the rear blade on Wilson's 428 Rear Sight in about 60 seconds, and keep reasonably accurate zero.
(Changing the rear blade in a Bomar sight would take a bench vise, a hammer and punch, about an hour, while swearing the entire time.)
