| I've used Wilson Combat's adjustable rear sight on my competition guns since it has been in production. In my opinion, it totally blows away the Bomar in every aspect. Each component of the sight is CNC machined from bar stock, then hardened for maximum durability. The result is the toughest, precisely adjustable (3/16" @ 25 yards) rear sight in the universe - period. And, if that isn't enough, you can change the rear blade in about 60 seconds, and keep a reasonably accurate zero. (If you wanted to experiment with notch sizes, or remove it for blueing, for example.) | Wilson Combat .40 S&W & 45 ACP Magazines | |
 Wilson has redesigned the feed lips on the 8 rd 47D (standard basepad, left) and 47DE (extended basepad, center) mags. The good news is they now work perfectly for .40 S&W and 357 Sig, and hold 9 rds of .40 compared to 8 rds for .45.
Wilson's new 500 45 ACP and 40 S&W Mag now in my online store. The 10 round 47T (right), however, retains the older style feed lips, which are a tad too wide to handle .40 S&W ammo consistently. I spoke with Wilson about updating the feed lips on the 47T. Until they do, they would require a little "feed lip blacksmithing" to get them to work for the .40 S&W, which of course would void Wilson's warranty. |
