I'll have my brand spankin new Limited 40 by next week! Several ppl say these can arrive with machining roughness and minor burrs from the factory. It's said they could benefit from a good polishing (rails, barrel, lugs, plunger, trigger bar area, etc) and some minor de-burring if necessary.

Whats the best and safest method for removing minor burrs and polishing? For polishing: Dremel with a soft cloth polishing wheel + polishing compound? Would very fine sandpaper work for slowly working out burrs? I obviously dont want to remove too much material and dont want to mess my new toy up. Some have mentioned a whetstone for removing burrs as well? I usually have a smith do this but I figure Ill take the hands on approach this time around.

Thoughts, tips, opinions appreciated. (and suggested problem spots for these guns would be helpful too :)
