I've looked several places & hope to have better luck here. I'm looking for extended magazines, if they exist, for 2 S&W's, one is a CS40 (Chiefs Special S&W 40) and the other is a Model 1006 (10mm). Any thoughts or leads will be much appreciated.

Welcome! I'm certainly not a world authority on them, but I don't recall ever seeing an extended mag for the 1006. You might want to run this one by the folks over at the S&W Forum. The focus there is more on collecting, but there are quite a few threads dedicated to the 10 series autos. R,

It has been reported that a S&W 410 magazine will work in a CS40.
It will stick out of the bottom if it does work.
The only extended S&W 10mm mag I have heard of was for an initial prototype gun (that will probably never be sold.)
