This grip set-up is ugly as sin... But the fire controls line up PERFECTLY at finger-tip length.

I have a 9.5" hand-span, at 6'4" tall. My factory grip was WAY too small, and my trigger finger was buried to the second knuckle. I'm use to pulling the trigger on my pistols with the pad/first knuckle, so I needed a big stretch. These AR's are built to accommodate 18 yr old female soldier's hands... Not mine. The set-back and spacers are ugly... but it works! The spacer is designed for the Standard stock, not the carbine. I took my Dremel to it and shaved it into a SLIGHTLY more attractive shape.

No... My finger is NOT in the trigger guard. YES... The weapon was checked as empty 3 times.

Built by Ergo, ordered through DPMS.

Dear ATF,
Since guns are so dangerous, I threw all of mine in the Gulf of Mexico yesterday. If you're here to collect mine, I don't have any. Thanks for stopping by.

Can you still reach the mag release w/out shifting your grip position?

Yes. Trigger finger nails it every time.

Easier solution?

Stark.

As a bonus the angle is a bit less, so it's even more pistol like, and it has an integrated trigger guard. So far I love it, much mo bettah than the Ergo I used to use.
