Looking for a percussion revolver forum (if there is one). I'm looking to buy a few guns and want to educate myself before I buy anything.

Thanks
Mike

The Cowboys have a percussion division, or class...dont know what they call it.

Bet those folks could answer all your questions.

I've been trying to sell a couple of .44s, PM me if you're interested. They're the basic Cabela's model, a new army with good sights, and a stock brass Navy.

One great source of information for all things black powder is the Dixie Gun Works, Inc. catalog. It only cost $5.00 and the 2010 edition is ready. They sell most every thing related to black powder shooting but the catalog also has extensive sections that are how-to articles on BP rifles, smooth bores, and cap and ball handguns. They are on the web at www.dixiegunworks.com

I have several black powder rifles and handguns and black powder is addictive.

Oh. Maybe I just need to spend some time down South and learn the local customs. :)
Next time you're up here for a match you can show me how that works.
