if you're shooting USPSA Limited, what would be the equivalent in IPSC? I can't seem to find one that's similar.

The major difference between USPSA Limited and IPSC Standard is that guns for IPSC Standard Division has to fit in a box measuring 225 mm x 150 mm x 45 mm (approx. 8 27/32" x 5 29/32" x 1 49/64 ") with a magazine inserted, which means no 6" guns and no 140mm mags.

Yep Standard is the closest. As already stated the gun must fit in the box for IPSC. There are a few other small differences but the box and mag placement on the belt are the most notable differences.

Are you likely to be shooting in Canada?

If Canada, then you run into their law which limits magazine capacity to 10 rounds (I think the mags need to be blocked or pinned, not just downloaded).

Yup, and there's also the holster position. In Standard it must be behind the hip bone.

Seems like most magwells would fail, too, wouldn't they?

I shoot limited here in the US and standard when i go on vacation in the Philippines with my Edge (stock magwell fits in the box). The mags I use for ipsc are 126mm with Dawson ipsc basepads.

And the 170 power factor.
Let's face it, our sport is not for everyone. It is sometimes easier to make excuses than it is to make ready.

We are USPSA. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

Those who bear no responsibility can always be counted on to find the answer.
