califronia 3-gun championship canceled

Just received an e-mail from wayde shimoda..... The California 3- gun championship is canceled for 2010. I have not shot the match in the last couple of years but was looking forward to shooting it next year.

It is a shame. Rick simpson ran it for many years and burned out. Wayde took over, both of them did a great job! A lot of work must go into this series of matches. I do not know how the attendance was up or down but it was fun!

Wayde's e-mail did say that if anybody was interested in running the series they should contact him. We held one of the matches the last few years and it was pretty popular and it will be missed. Anybody got some free time? I don't, the club here already sucks up my free time.

I shot three of the matches last year and was already looking forward to the 2010 matches, with the goal of making four.
Wayde did a great job and I hope that someone can be found to fill his shoes for next year.

Yep, I'll second gose's comments. Attended a few of the matches the last couple of years. Always well done. Will be missed next year.
