At Double Up in Ohio, the slide cracked down through the ejection port on the Glock 17 my wife has been shooting for about 7 years. The gun probably has at least 50,000 rounds through it.

I called Glock hoping to get a couple of bucks off on a new slide. They said to send in the whole gun. Today the FedEx truck dropped off the repaired gun. They replaced everything except the barrel and frame.

No charge.

Of course, the trigger and sights need a little work before it is race ready. :roflol:

I guess we'll just keep on shooting Glocks. ;)

Agree. Snapped a frame rail, less than 3 weeks later including shipping had new one in my hands.

They've treated me well, even picked up the shipping once.

Good Lord, they're acting Dillon-like! :surprise: That's interesting.

Sucks that an old reliable blaster gave up the ghost. Great to hear Glock stepped up to fix things.

yrs ago when i took the Glock armorers course, we got to purchase a Glock, so I did, was still scoffing to the instructor at the fact of the then new 'plastic' gun, he wagered me that if i broke mine, we wouldfix it, AND buy me a new one, not one to pass that up, i set outto do it, and burned nearly 4K rounds theu it in one sitting, only stopping long enuff to load mags...well it didnt break, hell, i couldnt get it to jam...we had one ina rental case at the indoor shooting range that went 60K in 6 months with it only breaking a trigger return spring, which was fixed in short order

over the yrs Glock has impressed me with their customer service

just had a left rear frame rail brake off my G22, sent it in with a nice letter and they sent it back in about a month with a new frame, trigger group, recoil spring and guide. I don't know of any other gun company that does as much for it's customers as glock and g.s.s.f. does.

As someone has already mentioned, Glock is "Dillon-like" in the way they treat their customers. Good folks to deal with.
