single stack, as in 1911? Unless it's the Para DA guns, a true "single stack" is not production legal.

Sorry, I meant 1911 in IDPA and in USPSA Limited or Limited 10.

I saw some of your vids. Nice. What kind of belt/mag pouch is that for your single stacks?

Uncle Mikes paddle holster. Seems to sit higher on the belt and it is adjustable. Works fine.

I took 2 Uncle Mike's double pouches and put them together with longer screws. Works pretty good for me.

It was a temporary experiment 3 years back and I haven't use anything else for SS.

Use single stack Safariland pouches for L-10 when the mood strikes.

The Safariland 5188 is a very good Single Stack holster and its cheap compared the other players (Comp Tac, Kytac, Bladetech, Ready Tactical) It comes with a removable paddle attachment.

It surprised me how good it was...I saw that Phil, BJ, and TGO were using it, then I got one off a prize table. After trying it, I bought a 2nd one. I keep one rigged on my SS belt, and one for use in IDPA.

I've been using a Safariland model 010 for both Limited & L-10, however after shooting my Glock 34 out of a 5188 earlier this month I decided to order one for a 1911. Shot my glock out of the 5188 earlier this month in production and did pretty well with it. Shot a classifier stage with it and came in 10th out of 43 with it. Pretty smooth draw in my opinion.

Thanks,

Belt and pouches for USPSA is always CR Speed. In IDPA I use a 5.11 double stitch with BladeTech dual mag pouch.

For holsters:
in USPSA Limited, Limited 10 I use CR Speed WSM2 holster.

In IDPA and USPSA Single Stack, I use a Uncle Mikes Paddle holster.

This is what I use for anything kydex. I also use their mag pouches for SS division in USPSA as well. When I shoot IDPA I just pop a couple off my CR belt and put them on my wilderness belt and go shoot.

Agreed, Comp-Tac. Also have a Blade-Tech, but I prefer the Comp-Tac's belt tunnel over BT's stingray attachment.
