My local shop had a bunch of Win Super handicap for $80/8. I couldn't resist powder for that price so I bought a couple jugs.

Has anybody loaded 45 ACP with it. I emailed Hodgdon/IMR/WW about it and never heard back, they don't list any pistol data for it.

On the burn charts it is just slower than Green Dot or SOLO 1000 which would be my normal powders.

I am loading 230 gr RN lead for major, any thoughts on a starting load? I was thinking 5 grains...

You might be best off to give Hodgdon a call, 913-362-9455. They are really good about helping people out, really good people.

I loaded 5 rounds at 5 grains, went outside and test fired them. Recoil was more straight back than my previous batch loaded with Bullseye. Brass went in a high arc landing at 2:00 5 feet away. All 5 could have been caught in a 5 gallon bucket if I knew where to put it.

No chance to chrono as it is raining here.
