Looking for casters interested in a custom mold for 40. It will be 200gr, probably a TC style with a bevel base, no crimp groove and 5 or 6 cavity in Aluminum. Molds with less cavities may be available depending on which mold maker the group decides. The profile will be for SV/STI loads so the lube groove will be low enough to allow 1.2 (or greater) OAL. If we can get enough interest (at least 10-15 molds), the price should be comparable to mass produced iron molds. We will not be using the common mold makers because their wait time is as much as a year. I recently received a mold and it was less than a month after thegroup approved the design.
