I came in to about 3000 once fired .223 cases about 3/4 is lake city and about 1/3 of the lake city is non-NATO With out the +.
It still looks like the primers are crimped. What I am wondering is this brass any different than the NATO stuff with the +?

Thanks!

As I understand it, they are the same with the same thickness dimensions. The only difference is the batch of ammo they originally intended to load with them. For example, the commercial Federal XM193s had LC cases without the NATO stamp but for all intents and purposes it is the exact same round as M193s with the NATO stamp.

I also have a bunch of XM193 brass that has FC headstamps without the +, but does have crimped primer pockets. I know it is from brown box XM193, because our dept. shot it at our police range. I know FC brass has a less than stellar reputation, but since it is XM, is it the same as LC?
