I just installed a over sized bolt release button, the stick on not the drilled and tapped, now the shell carrier won't push up so I can load the mag, I have to push in the button to release the carrier, what can be the problem?

Your talking about bolt forward and trigger pulled the shell carrier won't release to come up?

It does it with the gun cocked also, with a empty tube, after I press the bolt release to release the carrier and load one it works fine. Its also intermittent

Check the spring behind the bolt release to see if its slipped on it's side.

Okay here's an update, I took the oversized button off! shotgun works perfect, reinstalled, shotgun malfunctions.
Next I cocked the bolt placed the button over the release and released, guess what, malfunction!
So I figured the recessed part is machined to deep, or my button isn't as long as others for some reason, So I cut a sliver off a Dr Pepper can and shimmed it, problem solved

Now you went and done it.... You will pay for that remark...

Glad you got the problem figured out.... When the solution comes to light - it THEN seems simple... ;)
