I just purchased some 185g bullets from Precision for my XDM .40. Having problems finding load data for the 185g bullet-wonder why David decided to make 185g instead of the more standard 180g bullet? Anyway will it be OK to use load data for 180g instead?

I load 3.5 grs of titegroup for my minor loads. I have used 180 data and not had any problems. A few years ago Dave eliminated the lube groove, I think that accounts for the extra weight.

Hello: Are you looking for major or minor loads? My Glock 22 loads for minor is 3.0 grains of Tite Group and 1.140 OAL. The major load is 3.9 grains Tite Group if I can remember correctly for major. Hope this helps. Thanks, Eric

I use TiteGroup but it does smoke like hell. If you have access to N320, it's a much better choice.

I use 185 Precisions with 4.6 gr Solo-1000/mixed range brass/COL 1.190/Wolf SP and get a PF of 174 with SD of 10 (STI Xtreme 5") That data was collected at 78 deg. That same load gives a PF of 170 out of my Para P16-40 5". Para load data collected at 68 deg.

I just chronoed some 185s over 3n37. At 6.0gr, it made major in both my 35s. The KKM barrel was a little faster than the stock glock barrel but both made major. I don't have the numbers & really did a rush job but they were both over with a little safe margin. 170pf, I think on the KKM, a little less, maybe 168? on the stock barrel.

It is a very clean load, minimal smoke, plenty of volume in the brass for easy visual checks as you load. I like the characteristics of v.v. powder a lot.
