I have family that live in the Fort Myers/Sarasota FL. area. Actually they live in North Port which is kinda in between the two.
They are having trouble finding ranges in the area. Not so much for competition. More for just target practice with the kids and stuff.
If anyone knows of anywhere hopefully close to the North Port area please pass the info along.

There's a great one I found, it's free and really nice. If you exit I-75 at Tuckers Grade and head west you enter a state or county park, a short drive in and you'll find the range.

Cool. I'll pass it along and see if they can find it. I don't know the area that well, but maybe they will recognize the exits...

I believe you have to go East from the Interstate. There is a box with envelopes in it and you have to put $3 for each person using the range. Still very cheap. There is a 200 yard rifle range, 100 yard rifle range, a pistol range and a shotgun area. They also have restroom facilities. There is usually someone watching the ranges to keep the idiots out. I have been checked to see if I had my flap from the envelope in the window. I think it is called Babcock-Webb. Bshooter.
