Greetings to all you powers that know...

I am building my first MOR and ran into first snag.... Ordered a Bell & Carlson Tactical Medalist Stock, OD green, black spider web, looks great. Looked at all the bottom metal from HS, Badger, Surgeon etc.. and really like the Surgeon so I ordered it and it too looks great, and I think they will look awesome together....SMALL problem... they dont fit together. Stock Opening is way too narrow, Length looks about right but probably nees some opened up there too. My question... who should I have do the install.... how costly is this. Im Thinking for the cost of the stock, the bottom metal and the installation price I could have gotten an AI or a Mcree Precision stock and been done with it. Anyway... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Doug

Snipers Hide deals with this exact question in detail. CDI does a great inlet and maybe even your local 'smith' should be able to take care of it. Good luck with the new banger! :D

Thanks for the info on CDI but I had already contacted Surgeon who referred me to GAP, who I kinda was thinking was where I was going to end up anyway, and they, GAP, told me to send it and they would do it. Problem Solved.

Thanks,

Doug

Not all bottom metals are direct fit. Have the same stock for my Howa 1500 and a mag system is next. Post pics when your rifle is done!!!!!!
