On page 57 of the IDPA Rule book #3 says.

3. Club matches and facilities must be open to all IDPA members.

What I take this to mean is that if my Gun Club is an IDPA affiliated club we cannot force IDPA members to join our club to shoot IDPA. Since they are IDPA members we must allow them to participate in IDPA club matches w/o requiring them to join our local club. Right or wrong?

Thats the way i read it..now some clubs will charge a couple bucks more for the non"club" members to shoot..or at least they do around here..but it is nice that most out of state clubs will let you just showup and shoot with the regular members..

At our local IDPA club members of the club (IDPA member or not) pay $10.00 to shoot. Non-members of the club who may or may not be IDPA members pay $15.00 per match.

That is how a read it too. If you are talking about ARPC in St Louis. This is not going to fly. It is a members only club.

I am talking about ARPC. I don't know the background or the politics at ARPC. But it doesn't seem like they can be IDPA affiliated and say only members can shoot. The rules seem to be in conflict.

Brian's Forums are not going to be the venue for determining whether or not a specific (now named) club can exclude non-club members. Your question needs to be addressed to IDPA HQ.
