New Guidelines for Rules Forum

Due to incessant bickering typical of the Rules Forum, we've (Admin/Moderators) come close to deleting the Rules Forum altogether. (Several times.) We've decided to keep it (by a narrow margin), however, with this stipulation:

Production question ? Para PX1415SE? Confused

I am planning on trying production in USPSA. I currently am looking at getting a Para PX14-45SE. I like the feel, as I have large hands. I would plan on loading 185g loaded down.
My question is whether or not this firearm would be allowed in production.

I don't see it on the list, but the model you list may be shorthand or abbreviated. I'm not sure.

Nope, PX series are all single action which are no go in Production. Did you mean the DX series LDA guns?

Curious.....no single action production pistols allowed in this class?

Nope it's for double action or striker fired pistols only

Too bad this firearm can not be used in production. I have handled the Glosks and the S&W M&P that are popular in this class and are not crazy about how they feel. The fact that I live in the Peoples Republic of Mass. limits other choices such as a Para LDA (hard to find at a reasonable price).
Thanks for everyones help. Maybe I will just go with L10.

Nice gun. I shot an older version of this with a standard extractor for 2 years in L10. That would be a great choice.
