I opened a new container of Clay's and it has a greenish tint. Every other can I've used had a gray tint. Is that anything to be concerned about?

My current can of Clays also has a greenish tint and just check another one which is the same. I used it for the recent Illinois match and my 200 swc load made
174 PF. I'll just keep using it..

There's no perceptible odor to me, at all. I've read about that, but even if it did, I don't perceive smells very well. I don't know what an acidic smell is.

I have two 4lb jugs on hand and both have a greenish tint. I don't remember seeing any other tint in the past.

My first 4 lb. jug of clays was gray and the second had the green tint.

I called Hogdon and spoke to a tech. He assured me it was just fine. He was very knowledgeable about loading Clays in .40 cal. We had a good chat. he was very helpful.

If you still have any doubt, call them, the number is on the jug.

The green stuff passed the chronograph test just fine. Not any velocity difference from previously loaded gray stuff.

Don't guess I'll be sending it to you Nosteel.

I did call customer service and the response was quite clear: the color will change from one production lot to anther, no worries.
