The LaRue Tactical Multi-Gun match is planned for 08-09 May 2010.

Location/Range is TBD.

If anyone knows of a facility that will support the event in Texas, please contact me for input. Must support logistic needs for the event.

Rules and scoring are undergoing revision.

Classes will be Tactical and Tac Heavy.

Thanks

Greg

What do you need to "support logistic needs"?

We have a pretty decent range for 3 gun with 4 small bays @25yds deep, 3 deeper @35yds, 1 long narrow bay maybe 85yds & one long wide @225yds & could actually have one more of the 35yd ones with some dirt work.

If you go to our website, you can see an old sat photo of the range but there have been a lot of changes since the photo. www.wtps.us The east side bays are the bigger ones, we have added one more on the west side south which is @25-30 deep & maybe 35 or so wide, which enclosed the long rifle bay north to south & added the 85yd on the north end running east to west. If that makes any sense at all. Oh yeah, we have one tiny little bay over on the west side facing north that we actually never have used.

Just wondering what you need or if we have it.

Oh yeah, we have parking close for @85 cars, pretty easily, plus decent parking for an almost unlimited number within 400 yds, just outside of the pit. We have a small stats shack, also.

....

And must have "08-09 May 2010" available. ;)

Hopefully I will be able to make this one.

Maybe San Angelo Gun Club, but it depends on what you mean by "major" airport.

Hey Ken - when are you having a 3gun match to show off the range? No one would complain if you have a Texas State 3gun as a warmup for Larue!

Lets don't go there. You give him that much room and he will try to have it at the Ft bliss Gun & Rod Club in ElPaso, TX

I would love to see it stay somewhere in central TX, but I am only trying to keep my drive as short as possible :D

Now if you were wanting to go outside of Texas let say maybe Benton, Ar I might be able to help!!!!!!!!! Now this would really cut my drive time down to under 10 mins :D

But after the last joke Mark told me I doubt he will let us Arkansans host a match for him... But I still love him.!!!!!!

It is tough to get the coffee pot in my luggage - and then the airline breaks it. It helps if there is someone local who can donate a coffee pot. Otherwise, I have to purchase a cheap one & then leave it behind when I go. I do bring my own coffee pot if the range is within driving distance.
