Good news on Saturday at the USPSA match in OKC I was shooting against some tough competiton. Shot a tad over my abilities. I ran the courses like my hair was on fire. Burned a couple down trashed some but eeked out a win. Now the bad new had the same fire and was burning down the stages at the local monday night league in Tontitown and if it was USPSA I would of won....It wasn't and I didn't. I did not see the results but a fellar shootin a Ruger whupped up on the bunch of us. I need to get back into the ICORE groove before the Midwest Regional this weekend. (Whar is that dang whiney crying emoticom) later rdd

That Roger has to be watched all the time or he will cheat and aim

As you know Scotty in USPSA it is pure spead and hang em on paper, in ICORE it is pure speed with all A's. I just got it half right in ICORE but great in USPSA. Roger (The Hired Gun Ruger) Reid has been playing with his Rugers for some time now and has some real decent trigger actions done by polishing and "tuning" Springs. He has came up with a interesting concept of "tuning" the Ruger. Of course stolen from Steve Thorton, who actually shared the info. Like the old PPC smiths he narrows the coil springs for light pull with the same pre load on the system. He will be shooting his Rugers in Octobers ICORE Cup in Byram Ms and is toying with the idea of shooting the Memphis Charity match with them also, but the will succumb to the Mercenary side to place higher and shoot his 625. But I will be working on him. There is a small note of it along with my dismal performance at the Mid West here Adopted Corner Look under Midwest. Also some longer versions of stories are located there . later rdd
