Immediate Email Notification, not working

On both of the threads below, I went to 'Options', 'Track this topic', and then I clicked on the button 'Immediate Email Notification'. Not once in either thread did I receive an email notice.

The 'Immediate Email Notification' IS working on the threads when I'm not the OP.
