Not only legal, but probably, along with the G17, the dominate gun in SSP.

Edit: I forgot to welcome you the forums.

OHH...i don't know if you should use a 34 in SSP..it got me bumped in SSP and ESP,from SS to MA...unless you want to get moved up real fast..start off with a real good DA/SA type pistol, like the Beretta, the older 2nd and 3rd gen S&W's,CZ'S something or other then a Glock...

just kidden  ...probably the best choice you can make....

Some would say the Glock 34 is SSP. :)

Though honestly I don't think it's any better choice than a plain Jane Glock 17....it cetainly does have the cool factor!
Pride and fear are emotions, which hope for an outcome. Outcomes take your attention from the present, where the shooting happens, to the future. It is totally impossible to do anything in the future, because it hasn't happened yet. The key to shooting your best is to be present as the witness of the shooting. Do not judge, do not give yourself anything to live up to. We can only shoot as well as we have trained ourselves to shoot. To try to shoot only induces stress. Be content with your current ability. And accumulate practice to improve that ability. Consolidate, build strength where you feel weakness. We cannot raise our ability until we accept our current limitations. Practice dissolves limitations. Matches simply define where the current limits exist. The game of shooting is all about redefining our limits.

Is the M&P Pro SSP legal yet? From the buzz I've heard/read, sounds like it may give the 34 a run for it's money. But I agree, the winning gun in SSP is the 34. A nice gamey gun for SSP is the SP01.

Only the SP-01 Tactical (with decocker) is legal in SSP. The good-ol SP-01 plays in ESP. You cannot manually decock a hammer in IDPA.
Don't pay attention to what I said above... I stand corrected!

Who says? It's not in the rulebook and it's been done for years.

That is the first I have ever heard of it as well. As far as I can tell by the rules it is perfectly legal.

The M&P Pro is SSP legal. At least in the clubs I shoot the PRO has at least caught the GLOCK if not passed it in popularity.
