I've got a 3 gun gear fabric sidesaddle that I need to switch to another shotgun, as soon as I buy it. What do you use to reattach the velcro backing to the receiver?

If you go to Lowes/HD they carry the same velcro 3-gun used - I think its called Super Velcro or whatnot, you'll recognize it when you see it. Strip off the fuzzy half you need, and cut to fit.
Wherever you go, there you are.

Go to a Car Detail shop ask for a One foot Velcro piece and is cheaper way to go.

Also, try some adhesion promoter. 3M makes the kind I use. Prep the receiver with it and wait 30 min or so, then apply your velcro. Remember, that receiver gets HOT in long stages, you dont want that loaded down sidesaddle sliding off the gun jsut when you need it most...

I don't always shoot a rifle, but when I do... I prefer a Firebird. Stay accurate my friends.

Preparation is also important. Before you stick on the velcro, clean the receiver with a de-greaser and then heat the receiver with a hair dryer to assure proper adhesion.
