my ESP 9mm 1911 was built on a caspian frame with holes predrilled for a scope mount....i'm thinking about going to a state match in August and don't want to run afoul of any rules.....i did a quick look around in the rule book and didn't see anything.....whadayathiink////D I C K

I can't imagine anyone complaining about the scope mount holes. As long as the rest of the gun is in compliance you will be fine.

I bet if you found some screws that are of similar finish and fit semi-flush to go in those holes no one would even notice.

It's only slide lightening that's illegal. There's no competitive advantage to lightening a frame.
