That was a totally different match. Most of those stages were 12 rounds or less and very little movement. I only remember 2 18 round stages and one you had to shoot through a moving window. You could only engage targets as fast as the window was moving. Not to discredit Morris in any way, he did shoot a good match.

Each match is different, depending on the MD, MVSA did have a lot of 12-15 round stages, which levels the playing field between ESP/SSP/CDP. There were just a whole lot less division mandated reloads there :).

I really liked both MVSA and CASA as they each offered different challenges.

One just has to shoot the best match they can for the division, sometimes that means 3 stages with extra reloads for the CDP folks.

I would rather forget all about the MVSA match and hope the results from it would disappear forever. LOL

My first World Shoot experience. As some knew that my luggage with gun, rig and clothes didn't arrive until the night before the last day of the match. I shot through the stages to catch up with my squad with a borrowed gun and newly bought rig that I have to get familiar with in less than an hour. I'm very grateful to all who offered and supported to get me up and running. Thank you!

Great weekend at La Gator Classic! I enjoyed seeing old friends and new acquaintances.
I took some photos of the Rudy Squad and other shooters.
Kevin outdid himself by literally shooting the 'Gator'.

Had a great time at the Gator this weekend.... it was my 1st major USPSA match in Limited as I normally shoot Open. Awesome stages and really great weather. I finished 29th out of about 98 in Limited.

Hello: I shot a rimfire match this past weekend and had a great time. My 13 year old son also shot it using my spare Rudy Rydons. I had some ammo problems on the first stage. Cold 22(42 degrees) ammo is not good. The lube turns to thick wax and does not run very well. I placed it in the sun and it ran after that. My son shot well since he has not shot since August and he ended up 10th overall. He had some great stages with some 2nd and 4th places. I ended up first overall and was very pleased with my rifle shooting which I need to work on some more. I am really liking the darker lenses with the C-More dot. Thanks, Eric

It was nice seeing everyone at the Gator Classic this last weekend. I finished 4th Oa in Production. For some reason I wasn't reloading smoothly. I switched to the new DAA mag pouches the night before I left. I guess the release is just different enough to screw me up a bit. Nothing a little more dry fire won't take care of.

Jordan...nice run. I've been using those DAA pouches for a while now -- put a bit of bevel on the edges/corners of the pouch. The beveling will also remove some micro-burrs. I did mention it to Saul, so he may have done something about it. Although I don't think this will make a really meaningful difference, it should make make inserting and drawing the mags a bit smoother.

It was nice seeing everyone at the Gator, and finally meeting Kevin, Don, and Sean. After talking to them on the phone a million times. Kevin is so much taller in person than he is on the phone! LOL

I finished 2nd in Open, 93% of Eddie Garcia. Eddie is not easy to beat. He was on fire again, and I made a few minor mistakes throughout the match. Watching my video, the mistakes are very evident. Couple of bad mag changes, some extra shots on steel that I needed, and some on paper that I didn't need, proves that I need to work on calling my shots a little more.

Still had a great time though. The weather, the food, and the people were all wonderful. Thanks to all the Rudy guys, and to all our sponsors.

Nope, I figured out the points from that stage, and even if I had WON the stage I was still about 3-4% back. But thanks for the kind words. :)
