Not a Tru-Spec vest, but has the Logo. I'm going to look into the Tru-spec vest. Was letting Corey be the guinea pig! :surprise:

With Christmas and all I haven't been able to send my vest to Brian's embroider. I'll do it first of the year probably. I have the rip stop tactical vest.

Cory,

This is the vest you are talking about right?

My IDPA match

VIDEO

Corey Estill ESP EX 73.93 16
Dan M ESP UN 87.26 17
Brad D SSP EX 87.74 16
Frank C ESP EX 87.89 18
Tom T CDP SS 102.16 33
and 30 others

That video makes me cold just watching it. :surprise:

I shot two matches this weekend. The weather was perfect. High 40's lots of sunshine and no wind.

I shot Open on Saturday at West Texas Practical Shooters. I was running the match and didn't want to worry about cleaning all my mags. Had 3 so so stages and 3 good stages. Finished 1st Open 3rd OA.

WTPS Video
Results

Sunday morning I shot Production at Pecos Valley Action Shooters in Roswell. First Stage was kind of slow, while I got used to shooting with those bumps on the slide. I zeroed the second stage after not re-engaging the targets from under the pipe, DOH!. Did well on the last 3 stages, and ended up 1st Production and 8th OA PVAS Video

Yeah, we had highs in the 40s last weekend, when you guys probably where in the 60s lol. It really wasn't to bad as there wasn't any wind and actually felt warmer than last weekend.

What size did you get and how does the size compare to other vests you've had. As an example, the Woolrich vests run larger than the 5.11 so I had to get one size smaller.

Thanks!

Only other vest I've had has been some cheapy one that I got when sportsman's warehouse was going out of business. I guess I can say that the Tru Spec vest from CPWSA helped me win the match!

Oh and I got a XL and I typically wear XL cloths and it fits fine.

All I can say is that there are a lot of good IPSC shooters imported from the Philippines hanging around. They're keeping everyone else on their toes!

I would say the designs are done its just a matter of where to put the logos and if anybody else is coming on board or not. Once that is done they tell Sue who to put on the shirts and she prints them and we get them. Remember I got mine in 2 weeks from date of order!
