I have been shooting Bullseye with a scope and steel with a center fire without a scope for a couple of years. Recently started shooting steel with a 22lr pistol. First used my Bullseye rig, a 30 mm tube, then bought a Burris Fast fire and have had faster times, but mixed results due to lost dots.
Looking at past winners in Steel challange, i'm guessing that the type of sight is less important then the ability to orient the dot while finding the target.
If this is correct, I'm guessing that the pistol and balance is as important as the sight in over all performance.
Any one else care to join?
