As some of you have undoubtedly read, a Firearms manufacturer instituted a promotion that applies to multiple match venues. The first, and now multiple subsequent threads have been pulled for potentially violating the advertising rules of the forum. The matter continues to be discussed in the Admin forum -- a decision is pending, but may be delayed as Brian is out for the next week.
Brian, Kyle, the rest of the moderating staff and representatives of the manufacturer are all discussing the issue and trying to reach a consensus. Until we do, this topic is off limits for the board.
We are not likely to be happy with violators. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation,
Nik Habicht

Be aware that we're not kidding about this --- we have suspended members for exactly the conduct exhibited by some of you in this thread. Knock it off.

I don't have any opinion on this, I don't own this forum but just for information:
This seems very similar to the STI Contingency program that has been mentioned many times on this forum.
