I have a couple of decent options for shooting the Steeel Challange. 1911 Marvel, Highstandard, and a S&W 41. I can't hit well without a red dot.
I have noticed that i beat the trigger/short stroke its reset on my M-41 when I practice for steel. I'd like to keep the M 41 dedicated to steel if I can retrain my finger. Has anyone addressed the longer trigger reset on the M41 compared to the 1911 or HighStandard?
I use my Marvel for Bullseye and my HighlyStandard is mostly retired.
When I don't screw up the M41 seems fine for steel. About four times in a100 I don't release the trigger fast enough. Or partialy release it and lock it up.
Now is a good time to buy your kids a drill press and your Wife a vice.
