Down 1 I think it was 2.46 or 2.64 I forget. Notice the very cool BE shirt. :)

I'm still dropping my head a bit... having a hard time getting rid of that one.

indoor range?? I was wondering what was on his face and then it hit me he was indoors, aperently with no ventelation system.
Lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body,
But to skid in sideways totally used up, and worn out shouting "Man what a ride"!

No it's got a system, but when you spend a lot of time on the range you suck up the stuff no matter what. I was spending 20hrs a week or so practicing, so I thought it was a good idea....

Nice. I'm jealous. If I get 20 hours in 6 months, I'm doing well.

My wrist is in bad shape from an old injury, that and the cost issues have me down a lot from that now. I didn't shoot for a month trying to let it heal.

Did you get it fitted?

Are you clean shaven...everytime?

Are your heart and lungs OK with the extra body burden?

You may lose up to 25% of your max work capacity by wearing even a half face respirator.

<Industrial hygiene lesson over>

Be sure to wash your hands...probably higher exposure rate from your hands....oooops....I slipped again.

Dave,

What can I say... that's where my arms naturally hang. It's a part of the big man syndrome. That draw is .85 btw and for an older fat guy, I'll take it. ;)

As for the head drop... thanks for the advice. It's the same thing Max said, but I haven't tried that yet.

If that's the case, its called "shortened muscles due to lack of flexibility", and you'd still benefit greatly from working to get those arms relaxed (in the position you're in, you're in tension between the various muscles, because some are too short to allow your arms to hang). There's no interference from your body there - there's daylight all around your arms... Maku Mozo, my friend ;)

I wouldn't settle for anything. Starting will long, relaxed muscles will not only be faster in the long term, but you'll have a more consistent grip and presentation, and therefore consistently better points at the same speed.

The problem doesn't seem to be in the arms, but in my lats. I've heavy, but those lat muscles are pretty large and my arms hit them and keep the arms from coming down further. What I really need to do is lose 50lbs.

As to the grip and presentation... I understand and believe you. It's one of the area that need some more work.

Thanks again Dave...

That can be fixed almost entirely by changing eating habits. Its worth it ;) Most folks don't want to take that step, but... I've kind of figured it shows how much they really want the change... ;)

Most of the visible change you see here came from changing eating habits: http://www.crossfitc...t/view/236/174/
