I just checked Cabela's. They are out of stock but advise they should ship some in 0-1 weeks. Not sure how accurate that prediction is though. Doesn't sound like a long wait. Maybe someone with experience with Cabela's will provide further feedback.

Ordered a couple hundred rounds of Win 308 brass on 12-06-08. At that time Cabelas said should ship in 1-2 weeks. Got my order yesterday.

What restricitons are there for a private individual on shipping primers? Is there more than Hazmat do deal with? Is it true that primed but unloaded brass is OK to ship w/o hazmat or other restrictions?
I wonder if it would be possible to trade primed brass via ups w/o incurring hazmat or breaking any restrictions.
Anybody know?

I'm pretty sure Graf & Sons would know since they do it on a daily basis. From their website (http://www.grafs.com/page/terms-full):
Primed hulls, primed brass and ammo does not require a haz mat fee for ground shipping.
I'll bet it does have to be marked ORM-D (no fee for that)
