Since I'm leaning towards Limited this year I probably need to start loading .40s again.
Any TS owners out there with a good starting point, preferably with VV powders?
Was thinking of either MG 180 JHPs (200 FMJ?) or Zero 180 JHPs.

In my TS, I like 165 MG CMJ's the best. I use 4.9 Ramshot Competition, which is very similar to 320. Load with 180 Zeros was 4.4. Both around 167 PF.

For me, the 180's and especially the 200's, feel a bit lazy.

I actually enjoy the snap and speed of the 165's.

For my TS, I like around 4.8 N320 with MG180jhp seated to 1.14 or whatever will fit into your magazines. I don't have chrono data, sorry.

Update...

Using 180gr MG JHPs with an OAL of 1.145, but I seem to get occasional jams (FTF) where the round gets stuck slightly at an angle (pointing slightly down and slightly to the right) on the feed ramp. It only happens once in 200 rounds, or so, which makes it hard to diagnose, but still to common to make me feel comfortable at matches.

Has anyone had, or seen, a similar issue?

I've had a similar FTF with factory ball (180gr cone-ish profile). It may be the slide stop...I've filed one down to test (sometime later this month)...

I've been running 5.0 grains of Viht N320 with the Montana Gold JHP loaded to 1.145 and getting 172 PF.

Have not had issues with FTF lately. Sure it's not one of your magazines? I used to have magazines issues until I upgraded the springs.

I run a slightly longer OAL. 1.160. I don't think I've ever had a jam.

I run 5.2 grains of Universal Clays with 180gr Zeros or Berrys loaded to 1.120 and it works perfect. On the CZ forum site Angus says he loads to 1.120 for all his CZs.

Magazines springs are one possibility, yet all my mags have new CZ springs/followers or Grams kits installed less than 1000 rounds ago. Happened with both sets of mag guts...though more often with the CZ followers.

THese pistols do like to be loaded shorter than others. I run 1.143" using 180 BBI/Bear Creek LCN. I loaded a dummy, and hand cycled until It was reliably feeding. What I noticed was the rounds would jam when too long because the ejector was not clear of the breechface and the round could not slide up under the extractor as it fed off the magazine. By reducing your OAL you are allowing the cartridge to get up under the extractor before coming into contact with the feedramp. Once I reduced my OAL, and could see this process change by watching it hand cycling properly, my FTFs went away. Now this pistol eats my reloads with gusto. Really like this gun :D

I'll try to reduce the length a tad then and see if that help, thanks

My CZ IPSC Standard (previous version of the TS) mis-feeds constantly with 180 gr MG CMJ's loaded to 1.135 (these are my G35 loads). I haven't had the time or money to investigate why but it seems to be OAL related. New magazine springs don't help. I think I'll try shorter when I get back to it (after reducing the powder charge first-shorter OAL generally equals higher pressure).

I queried Angus and he recommends loading to the SAAMI spec OAL for the TS.

I have an older IPSC Std gun and it likes to be a little long. Around 1.180" with the Zero 180JHP. Can't remember the load as the slide is now cracked. I got it used an it was cheap it lasted long enough for my purposes. Will one day have some fun with the frame.
So many guns, so little time.
