I have a hunch that my targets are but metaphors for meaning and worthwhile purpose in my life.

And, more amazingly, they aren't really subject to my imagined power to "project" a projectile.

Instead, they are like strong magnets, drawing and "calling" me toward them.

They have the power of perfect attraction, and the only reason I'm not living/shooting in the ten ring is because in various ways I manage to resist/interfere with their attraction.

It's as if I'm furiously (aiming) paddling and working to guide myself toward a goal or target while forgetting that I'm in a strong current intent on taking me where I need to go and be in life.

I'm not really shooting at the targets, they've already been calling to me and are drawing me to them. I'm just trusting, surrendering to, and heeding their pull when I live accurately.

When my intention lines up with their attraction, I both enjoy and win the match of life.

"As a man among men I listen to the stories of others, own my shadows, and free the world from my projections."
