A shooting buddy broke out his 10/22 and challenged me to do the same. What a good idea! I bought my 10/22 in 1977 (my first gun!) and it still shoots great!!! The change of pace and the mind set and focus is a benefit to my patience, trigger control and shot placement. We are shooting indoors and he is planning a small informal IPSC style match. Should be fun!

Hard to figure anything more fun than .22 rifles and a nice variety of stuff to plink at.
A little off topic perhaps but.... take 5 bucks worth of little plastic animals or toy solders in a creek bed or gully with a buddy and shoot till you miss man on man competition off hand is a hell of a nice way to spend an afternoon.

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

Go outside, toss two golf balls at about 10yds. The one to get the golf ball the furthest away without missing wins.

The first rule of gunfighting should be to know when the gunfight starts - being the last one to get the news certainly won't put the odds in your favor.
