I've been using my STI Eagle in 9mm for IDPA matches a lot recently. What weight recoil spring comes from the factory? I run 147gr bullets at about a 135 PF or so. The ejection isn't very stout, but it is very reliable. I'm probably due for a new recoil spring in the near future so I figure I will go a pound or two lighter on the recoil spring. Any suggestions?

I'd run something light like a 7 or 8 lb spring. I think STI usually puts 12 lb springs in at the factory, which will work for WWB/115 gr factory bullets.
I run a 9 lb spring for 125 bullets at about 134 pf but that's with a lightened slide.

I run an 8 pound spring in my 9mm Eagle. I purchased a 7, an 8, and a 9 pound and tried them and the 8 pound works the best for me. I have shot it with 147 grn and 125 grn, no problems at all.
