Taking wide45's lead from last year. As he put it... "Let's see what we are made of".

I shot 13,724 rounds in matches and what limited training time I got in 2008. All 45 ACP. That's down 1427 from last year.

Bought 4 cases MG 124g at 3750 bullets per case, I have no bullets and 2 k loaded. Since 08 was my first year shooting open that's about 13k shot downrange. Add another couple k of 40 and 45, total about 15k....

I only shot 3,922 rounds of 40 s&w in 2008. Hopefully I will shoot a lot more this year.

Might be why I didn't make it to A class in Limited in 2008.

Slow year for me... under 2000 rounds. Only shot 5 matches plus a few steel matches, very little practice.

This year will be more active... lets hope!

Man, I'm definitely on the lower end of the curve at about 3800. Very little focused practice for me. Hopefully I can change that this year!

very light year for me. I did not buy any bullets this year. I probably only shot 2500 rounds total, if that.
"If you were one of America's Founders, and you'd just surprised the world... by winning a war of secession against the most powerful and heavy-handed government on the planet, and the last thing in the world you wanted for yourself, for your children, or for your grandchildren was to fall beneath the heels of its jackboots again, what would you want the Bill of Rights to mean? And if the first act, under martial law, of that powerful, heavy-handed government had been to try to take your guns away at Lexington and Concord, would you have written a Second Amendment to guarantee its 'right' to own and carry weapons? Would you have written a Second Amendment that was subject to whatever government claims is 'reasonable regulation'? Or would you have written the Second Amendment to forbid government from having anything to do with your guns?"

After counting up all my empty primer boxes, I totaled 9,400 rounds of reloaded ammoin .38 stupor, .40 S&W and misc .38 rounds. Add to that the Blazer I shot in my 9mm and I probably came in close to 10K.

Just around 3000 of .40 S&W.
Never kept track of .45 or any of the other calibers.
If I had to guess, I should easily be in the 5000 neighborhood.

Hopefully, I should double that this year. ;)

I shot about 6,000 rounds of .45 and then another 2,000 rounds of 9mm after switching to open in August.

I had a dry year due to a major move and attending an academy that I couldn't bring my gun. I plan to shoot much more this year though.

I was just under 6K last year..... but remember ..... From mid-October until April.... we're too busy shoveling the damn snow to shoot. Add in Airsoft and the number is more like 15K.

It's no wonder many of the best shooters come from the sunbelt.

3000+ were 40S&W's
The rest were rimfire practice, 12ga, .223's & 10mm's.

I shot between 1000 and 2000 rounds last year. Virtually zero practice so mostly just in matches. I did manage to shoot about 4,000 rounds of rifle with about 3/4 of that in the quest for a 1000 yard prarie dog. Kind of an expensive rodent.
Train attention inefficiently, and that error will compound itself under pressure.

I didn't count rim fire.

I shoot our club matches when the weather was decent or I didn't have to work.
But in July I shoot our club match and 2 tournaments that pushed my annual round count up.

Probably shoot more rounds checking zero than training.
And my match results reflected what I put down range.

Now where did I put those happy go lucky days of having a job instead of my own business! :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:
