I am currently using a 12lb recoil spring and 17lb main spring.

Bushing barrel.

Lightened slide, 12lb recoil, 17lb mainspring. Bull barrel.

You quit at 9# on the recoil springs and I only run a 7#! So I had to vote for the 9 pounder to get the vote to count!

12 lbs recoil spring, 15 lbs main spring, bull barrel, lightened slide.

(I use to have 17 lbs main spring but I just change it for 15 lbs)

I have gone from a 14# recoil spring and a 19# mainspring to a 12.5/17. I think I may go back to the 14#. The 12.5 is a little too snappy for me.

I use a 12.5# recoil spring with a 17MS and a lighten slide. On my Single stack 40s though I use a 14# recoil and 17# MS. The single stacks have a stock slide and it seems the 14# makes it a little more reliable.

12 lb. recoil and 15 lb. mainspring - but it's a .45 ACP Limited Gun instead of a .40. Sorry, haven't made the switch. Probably won't. I like it the way it is.
