:goof: Well, it’s official: Johnson 3-Gun 2009 will be held June 27 and 28 at Pueblo West Sportsman’s Association in Pueblo, Colorado!

We’re going to give it one more try. Johnson 3-Gun is all about choices. Which gun to use to shoot certain targets, where to go, what order…we try to give you as many choices as we can. It’s a thinking match, and it’s a lot of fun!

We will have 9 stages with rifle out to 400 yards. Last year, we had one stage each of pistol, rifle and shotgun, 3 two-gun stages and 3 three-gun stages.

Check out our website at: www.home.earthlink.net/~johnson3gun

Johnson 3-Gun is a trophy match with small cash prizes for top finishers. Last year, each shooters bag plus their pick from the “bucket o’ prizes” was worth more than the entry. We also have random drawings for some great prizes!

Our match sponsor is Sabre Defence once again, so you know there will be a great rifle for someone! We also already have Nordic Components and LaRue Tactical, Brownell’s and COM! It should be a lot of fun!
Thanks so much to all of our sponsors and future sponsors! (Feel free to contact us if you'd like to sponsor! We are very appreciative!)

The Pueblo KOA, located at the same exit off I-25 as the range will be sponsoring us this year as well. We have our own match Campground! (I don’t think any other match has that!) When you make your reservations there, just mention Johnson 3-Gun and you will receive a 15% discount on your spot or even one of their cabins!

I’m sure you’ll be hearing more about it, but Johnson 3-Gun will be one of the matches sanctioned by the NRA. This will bring us and you some benefits, and it should help out all of the shooting sports and help the NRA help us and the other “black gun” shooters.

Anyway, the application is on the website. Please join us for another fun year!

Denise and JJ

Now that Ft. Benning is over, don't forget to think about Johnson 3-Gun. Pueblo, CO in June is pretty nice!
The KOA campground is sponsoring us and you get 15% off a campsite! It's right around the corner.

We're pretty excited about some of our stages. All of them will be color coded!!!! Just kidding! :roflol:

Check out our website at: www.home.earthlink.net/~johnson3gun

Lot's of choices, lot's of thinking and lot's of shooting!

So, we were thinking of having an LE scenario for one of our stages!

I had the GREAT idea to have a pick-up pump shotgun with a couple of those beanbag rounds in it! I was very excited about it. Then, I checked the cost! Like $5 a round! Johnson 3-Gun can't afford that!

So here's the question, does anyone know where I can get some less expensive beanbag rounds? We could return to bean bags to be reloaded (if that's possible). We'd be willing to pay for some and get some free, whatever!

I just thought someone might have a good idea for me!

Happy New Year!

Slugs are nice, but I had my heart set on bean bags!

I thought it might be fun to use a taser, too...but...well, we'd have to have an ambulance on standby for when we tasered ourselves!

How would you score a taser hit

Maybe, amount of drool... :roflol:

I knew it wasn't feasible! That's why I want beanbags! If I can't have electricity...

Hey I'll bring my bicycle and use a generator off the rear wheel to charge the taser. If someone isn't nice I'll just pedal harder :roflol: You judge taser hits by how bad they do the funky chicken, wet their pants etc... Being a little more serious, during a Navy "chiefs initiation" an older crank telephone was used to get some peoples attention. My buddy was first one up and was carrying a pretty stout attitude, they lit him up pretty good, had to back off a good bit after that. Of course it all started when he took off his shirt and had a t-shirt on underneath with big letters that said FAUA. When all the chiefs behind the big table asked what FAUA ment, he proudly said "F#*% All You A$$*&^%@". He was first in line for the telephone....

Wow! I think I'm a little scared now!

I just wondered if I could find cheaper beanbagrounds!!!I don't really want to taser people or telephone them!!!
I think people might not want to come back, or even finish!

Though, knowing some of you...

Shot with Rod and Cheryl a couple of years ago in Cheyenne, had a horrible match, but such a great time I think I might be up for another trip West.
