Rim open or iron?

I'm running a Tac Sol upper with their comp but no optic. Am I eligible for rimfire iron or open? My club keeps scoring me as open no matter that I register as iron. Can't seem to find anything on the steel challenge website.

Come shoot with us, you use Iron sights your in iron sights. <_< the travel time to our shoots may be harder on you though.

comp=open. either unscrew it or put a c-more on that bad boy.

I am pretty sure rimfire is open or open.

The scoring that I have seen says Rimfire Optics or Rimfire Iron. Doesn't say anything about Open or Limited. Seems like the comp wouldn't matter.

I think Chuck is right, it's optics or iron sights. I remember seeing a top iron sight shooter from the Ca Bay area with a comped gun.
