As I was looking at a Xtrema2 the other day I couldn't help my self from noticing the difference in the recoil pad that they used on the Xtrema2.

So I asked Beretta about it. And they informed me about their GelTek Recoil Pads.

Has anyone here tried them on for say the 680's S series?

Beretta told me that the large pad would fit any of the 680 S's.

I am interested in POV's for say are they worth the $40 that they are going for on the streets?

Are they a pain to install? Any fitting? etc.

They are a pretty smooth pad which migh be good for low gun shooting. They are very simple to install and are not ment to be ground. Unscrew old pad, screw on 2 screw in plasic bars, place pad over bars, slide bar across to hold in about 5 min. They are a decent pad at best. If your looking for max recoil reduction look at the trapdude gooey pads. They arnt cheap and require fitting but really soak up the recoil.

I put one on a 686S. It was an easy install, I bought it to increase LOP. Can't really comment on recoil reduction as it is on a 28 ga.
