GLOCKS on backorder?
#1

I called the dealer today and they said it was on backorder. I called Glock US HQ here in Atlanta and they said they are running about 8-10 weeks behind on ALL Glock models. Seems that Glock is doing a brisk business these days.
Any word out there on how long it's taking some of you to get your Glocks in hand from your dealers that have to order them?
Thanks!

Good luck with your purchase. I am currently trying to convince myself that I DO NOT need another Glock.

I ordered glock 34 from OMB, as part of gssf special purchase program, the first week in June----still waiting. I spoke with someone at OMB about
2 weeks ago and they claimed to be waiting for a shipment. Did I mention I am still waiting.
I also ordered a Glock 34 from OMB, as part of the GSSF program, and was told they were on backorder. Unfortunately used a money order, so it would be a hassle to change to another dealer.

I can still shoot my buddy's M21 for some Glock trigger time when we get together. I understand Lone Wolf makes a conversion kit to convert a M21 to a M20. I might get a M21 and convert it to a 10mm with that option if this delay persists more than a month or so.
Oh by the way, they said there are no plans to discontinue the M20.

Having said that, several distributors have both 20's and 34's on the shelf to ship to retailers.

Hey, I just might get the .50GI conversion kit instead from Guncrafter Industries. It offers alot more power than either the 10mm or the .45 on a 21 or 20 frame.

Welcome to the forum! Question. You do mean G17, G20 and G21, right? God knows I could have missed something.

I'll stop by here now and then and help where I can. Be Safe!
Good shooting and God Bless!

You want a G20...get one.
It's a sleeper. It's the softest shooting gun in our game (properly loaded).
You might ask Middleman where to get one (he might know somebody

Flex,
Do you know of some successful basepads used with the G20 mags for .40 Limited? Another shooter was having big problems with his.

I shot a G20 with minor loads once...very soft
And yes, I know a few people...

Arredondo's with an ISMI (PO 45) 140mm spring has been pretty reliable in my G-21. Should work well in a G-20 also.Borg,

Flex may have another combo.

If anybody is having troubles, it is likely the springs. I think that the early Taylor Freelance bases for the G20/21 used the same spring that came with the G17/22 pads (too skin for the interior of the G20/21 mags).
My buddy Dale (dwt on here) has run G20's...more than me. He has probably posted what he uses (search). They run like a Glock (shooting 40).

Besides, there are more bullet designs for .45s and I can load it up hotter with heavier springs and a supported barrel from Lone Wolf and P+ brass.
I don't know that I would endorse that line of thinking at all. It would be very unsafe to try to load a 45 ACP to the same pressures a 10mm operates at. If you want a 10mm just get one. There are many in stock at various online outlets. You could have it overnight if you wanted to pay the extra frieght. Bud's Gunshop sells them with free frieght and has plenty of 10mm's in stock.
