I was just looking at the results from the Washington State steel match.
The speed option times look MIGHTY fast, almost like they did reward the 2 second for hitting the option plate.

Sure did. I guess they were doing it old school! I have been shooting that way at our local matches until BJ Norris came and did a class and told me I was all messed up.

We mentioned that they weren't doing the "option" plate any more but they still used it.

Naw...we just have faster shooters in WA State. ;)

IMHO the option should be a local option. As long as everyone shoots it the same way, no harm, no foul.
