To all the New York Yankee fans out there, the news that Bobby Murcer passed away today from the brain tumor he had been fighting for 2 years.

A great ballplayer, he was one of my idols growing up. An even better broadcaster for the YES network for the past 20+ years.

Sorry to see him go, but he battled his disease with class, and I will miss seeing him on future Yankee TV broadcasts.
