I got a TacSol packlite upper and installed it on my MkIII, but am now having a few intermittant problems, mainly that every so often the trigger doesn't reset. Every so often being anywhere from 2 to 6 rounds, haven't fired a full mag through without hiccup it since the swap. I'm no 'smith, so I'd welcome any advice ya'll choose to pass along to me on the subject. This will help me out more than you can believe since this is now the wifes steel challenge gun.
Thank you.

If you are using the Polymer lower.......Dont (edited to add that the upper I have did not run on a MkIII polymer frame or the 22/45 frames I have>......not what you wanted to hear, but my experience with the 22/45 frame is that it doesnt work reliably. I put the same unit on the steel MK II frame, runs like a clock......
Have your smith look at it for the trigger reset issue, but if you have jams, it is the frame tolerance difference....
Good luck,
DougC

No, it's on a steel MkIII lower, not a 22/45. It chambers okay, just sometimes the trigger doesn't reset.

Kool.....I would look at the disconnector, and see if there is anything keeping it from poping up. There also may be something keeping the trigger from going forward to reset. If it ran before, then check for gunk in front of the trigger and the frame, then the spring plunger assy. on top of the trigger, and then where the disconnector rides on the hammer pin in the frame. There is some reason that the disconnector is not popping up or the trigger is going forward. Have you changed out the trigger for a Clark unit?
