Competition Parts for Glock Firearms

Let me introduce myself and my company - my name is Bill Lester at Jager Products, Inc.
I've been an IPSC shooter myself for about 15 years. This season we are a stage sponsor for the Area 7 Championship, and we are also sponsers for the Area 8 Championship and the Summer Blast.
We manufacture precision parts for Glock Firearms, and currently offer compensators and recoil guide rods machined from both polymer (plastic) and steel.
Our polymer guide rods are a captured version for the G17/G22 size frames in .244, and are legal in SSP division of IDPA.
Our steel guide rods are hardened and black oxide coated so that they're black in color, captured or uncaptured for all models (except sub-compacts). These are in .244 diameter for stock and ISMI springs.
We also manufacture extended guide rods for the G34/G35 that are flush with the end of the slide, and these are .270 diameter for Wolff springs. The increased diameter and length really add weight, and weigh almost as much as a tungsten rod at less than half the cost. Much more durable as well.
Our compensators closely match the contour of the slide, and in our opinion is the flattest shooting compensator on the market. CNC machined from aluminum and hard-coated black for durability (not black anodized.) We also have them anodized in silver.
We have developed a special guide rod in conjunction with CCF Raceframes for their frames that solves an issue they had with their recoil buffers, and these rods are an integral part of their buffer system. These will be available shortly through CCF direct only, but we will carry their new slides and barrels on our site.
Thanks all, and see you at the matches!

I have tested a few"others" I have NO doubt that the Jager comps' will shine on race day!
And they do look really cool.

Do you have any idea when they will be available and what the price range will be? I am running a G34 slide on top of a CCF SS frame that I had Robar assemble for me. I just got it on Friday and ran 200 rounds through it today at the range with absolutely no problems at all. I took it apart when I got home from the range, cleaned it and checked the buffer and there was no visible wear on the buffer that I could see. So far I am really liking this CCF/34 combination. I am, however, a bit concerned with some of the bad press I have read on here about buffer failures and failures to eject and locking blocks breaking. So, if you have a guide rod that improves overall function and increases the longevity of buffers, I'd like to get one right away.

Thanks for the info on the guide rod.
They're only available direct from CCF, and looks like $18.95 will be their price. They should be available in a couple of weeks. I checked out Robar's CCF based guns at the Shot Show, Robbie sure does some nice work with his coatings too.

I'm also curious about the G34/G35 rods. Whats the reason for the extended heavy steel guide rod and why the larger diameter?

Harmon, are you using KKM or Lone Wolf for the .40?
The easiest way I found to assemble the uncaptured guide rod: It's easy to assemble once you get the hang of it. Place the spring on the guide rod, and hold the rod in your hand like a syringe with your thumb on the back of the guide rod head. Compress the spring down the rod, and hold it in it's compressed postion with the sides of your middle and index fingers like a syringe and insert in the slide. Takes a little finger strength with heavy springs, but do it a few times and it's easy.

The purpose of this guide rod is simply added weight. With the increased diameter (for Wolff springs) and added length, the weight is close to a tungsten rod at less than half the price without the durability issues that tungsten has.
For those woth CCF Raceframes, we've shipped out the the guide rod / buffer system to them and they should now be available from direct from CCF.

I guess that I'm now getting enough requests to make them. What is the most popular threading in .40? I have one now in 9/16 x 32 tpi if that works for you. When will you have comps for 40?
My 9mm comps should be ready to ship by Wednesday for 1/2 x 28 tpi for Lone Wolf barrels.

Great product. I installed one of your captured guide rods in my G34 with a reduced power spring. Wow, what a difference. Thank you for the suggestion on the phone, and the great product.
Sincerely,

Love your new striker, had some 40 year old CCI magnum SP primers I loaded in range brass & the first 200 went bang even with the reduced power spring you sent.
