We shot one of the new 08 classifiers at my home club today, so I figured we may as well get a thread started on one of the new ones. This one isn't terribly hard but it does require the use of a handful of different "standard" skills. Open: 13.56 96 points for a HF of 7.079. Clint

I like the looks of this one.
Fairly revolver neutral.
Kind of similar to 99-61 with reloads on 2 string.
Very easy to get suckered into hosing.

EZwinScore 3.02 does not support the 08 series of Classifiers until a new version is released (date uncertain). In the interim, matches using these will have to report them on the hand-written forms available on USPSA site.

We shot this in January at our local club. I got 93 points in 17.25 seconds for a HF of 5.3913 in Limited.

Currently a "B" Limited usually shooting closer to "A" but classification hasn't caught up yet.

You can check our scores for last month in the different divisions to see what some others did at:

FYI, the classification update listed the above score as 75.1872% so just over "A" level.

Edited to remove my calculation of the HHF. I don't think we are supposed to post that.

We shot this one last night.........well sort of. The two center targets were inverted so the classifier was tossed. Shame too, I shot it OK.

Anybody got any idea what a 4.8894 hit factor in production calculates out to?

ETA: OK I think I figured it out. Found one posted at a HF of 5.9761 for 88.2342

I was thinking it would come in around 80-85%.......don't think its gonna make it.

Speed is Fine,Accuracy is final....but accurate hits at extremely high speed is final much faster.

Amateurs do it til they get it right. Professionals do it til they can't get it wrong.

Single Stack Major
Pts: 89
Time: 15.20
Hit Factor: 5.8553

Wish I knew the percent. The ohio classifier calculator doesn't support 08 classifiers or Single Stack. Doh!

Shot this yesterday, production, 4.9943 hf.

If my math is right, it looks like a 73.7%. That's not going to get me to M... <_<

Shot this yesterday at one local club, then again today at a different Ohio club & the better of the two was 95 points in 15.89 seconds shooting LIMITED. If my calculations are correct it will come in somewhere around a 83.3777 %.

It's a quirky little stage that's easy to run wrong. In other words "High Disaster Factor" . 20 rounds is 100 points, and shooting any one of the 3 strings incorrectly would earn you as few as 4 procedurals - but as many as 12. Causing a high chance of losing quite a few points. Possibly even 100 of them. <_<

I shot it the other week..

Single Stack

19.35, 92points 4.754HF

68.84% according to classifiercalc

I blew a mag change and dropped points on the weak hand, both things I can improve on easily (and shouldn't have blown if my head wasn't up my behind).... I think I can reach a 5.25HF next time I see this one..

I shot something very similar, didn't use the classic targets though.
I got 13A's, 4C's and 1D for 83 points in 18.49 seconds.
4.4889 HF, no idea what percentage it is.
