So much for paying attention. At a six stage local match, I couldn't believe how poor my hits were. I zeroed 2 of the first four stages with no shoot hits and mikes, none of which I called. I almost quit and went home. Finally on the 4th stage I stood and carefully squeezed off each shot as if I was shooting Bullseye. 32 seconds on a 15 second stage. Called all as alphas. Result was nothing but mikes and a few deltas and charlies. ??? I then noticed that the rear sight was all the way over to one side. I went to the safe area and discovered the rear sight was so loose it moved in the dovetail with the slightest touch. Guessed where the sight was supposed to be and re-tightend the set screws. 5th stage: 22 alphas and 2 charlies. How come it took me 4 stages before I realized what was wrong? I was certain it was my poor ability and not my equipment, and I was not paying attention to what was going on.

My first open match, The DoubleTap 2008. Reminder to myself : Check the screws that hold the Cmore mount on
Totally my fault, Kept shooting lower and erratic throughout the match. Even a good friend on stage one said, Man your shooting really low on all these targets, move that damn sight up or something.
Went to bag the gun in the safe area after the last stage and WOW, the whole mount is loose and I can move the thing side to side and up and down a little.
Live and Learn ! It will not ever happen again !
